Whenever people think of Spain, they think of vacation, sun, beach and ocean. Yet Spain offers much more that just a long coastline: It is rich in history and cultural achievements. Excursions into the countryside reveal a lot about the eventful past of the country.

The Spanish language, ‘Castellano’, is one of the most widespread languages in the world. Outside Spain, it is the official language in all of South America except for Brazil (although you can make yourself understood with Spanish in many places there). With a few exceptions, Spanish is also spoken in Central America. Even in the southwestern United States many inhabitants speak Spanish.
In other words, learning Spanish opens up the possibility to communicate with millions of people, with whom a conversation would otherwise not be possible because of the language barrier.
Spanish is, along with English, one of the most important languages within the EU. Many companies require a good command of Spanish as a prerequisite for employment.
From our personal experience, we can confirm that it is best to learn
a foreign language by well-planned exercises and by applying what you
have learned in everyday life. This is the only way to learn the vocabulary
that you need in real life, and by doing so you get to know about the
people whose language you learn. To stay in a country with a foreign
language builds up your independence and your self-confidence.
Our internship placements in Spain are all in companies where mostly
Spanish is spoken. For those who still have to improve their knowledge
of Spanish before starting their internship, we offer intensive language
courses for preparation in selected language schools.
