Questions and answers (FAQ)

|
| We require an organisation time of approx.
8-12 weeks (at least 4 months for Australia). Should it be
necessary, we may be able to complete the process in less time.
If in doubt, simply call us. |
|
|
|
| At least 6 weeks, maximum 1 year. In
some destinations we can offer internships from 4 weeks. |
|
|
|
| If you do not speak the native language
of your requested destination you need to take part in
an intensive language course on location before beginning
your internship. This will ensure that you will be able
to understand your colleagues and the given tasks as well
as help you to make as much as possible out of your time
abroad. |

The daily working hours vary between
4 and 8 hours a day. In certain situations this could
be more or less. Should this be the case, we will let
you know beforehand.
Normally you are not entitled to holiday leave although
in most cases this can be arranged directly with the company.
If you want to undertake a long journey this should be
arranged to take place before or after the internship.

|
|
| If there is a good reason to change
the accommodation this can be done with the agreement of
the accommodation co-ordinator on location. |
|
|
|
| The average age in a shared house/student
house can be variable. Each new housemate is, where possible,
placed in an accommodation most suitable to them. Most
interns are aged between 18-25 years. |
|
|
|
| We organise the internships full time
and with a passion. Alone in our office in Germany we have
more than 10 people in our team. Our participants gain
the benefit of our knowledge and extensive contacts in
the various cities and countries where we offer internships. |

We can help you with booking your
flights. You
can find more information here.
If you would like to book an airport transfer please send
us your flight details in sufficient time. We will then
pass on the details to make sure that you will be met at
the airport and brought to your accommodation.
Our participants normally arrive on the Sunday before the
programme begins and depart on the Saturday after the programme
has ended. If your flight arrives a day earlier or departs
a day later we can also arrange the accommodation for the
extra nights. This can however only be done with enough
notice. |

|
| Don’t worry. Of course we
will not leave you alone abroad. To ensure that each
intern has the benefit a contact person on location we
have co-ordinators in all the cities where we offer tailor-made
internships. This service is included in the price and
can be taken advantage of during the entire stay, regardless
of how long this may be. We also have a 24-hour
emergency telephone number in case of emergencies when the co-ordinator
on location can not be contacted.

We organise tailor-made internships.
By tailor-made we mean that you advise us in which field
of work and between which dates you would like to complete
an internship.
Our success rate is over 97%. We are able to offer internships
in most fields of work. If you are flexible and have
several sectors in which you are interested in, this
of course makes the search easier.
It is important to note that certain cities/areas have
more specialised sectors to offer. E.g. coastal cities
can offer many placements in the area of tourism.

We have set ourselves the aim of
encouraging the intercultural exchange of young people
from all over the world.
We are already active worldwide. Therefore our programmes
are aimed at people from all over the world. Each destination
has its own visa requirements and these should be confirmed
before enrolling for a programme.

yourself as well as possible for your stay abroad. Take
time to think what situations may occur and how you might
deal with them. On our website we have compiled information,
checklists and tips. You
can find them here.

Booking without Risk!
With us you are always on the safe side.
As we have our main registered office in Germany it goes
without saying that we meet the strict guidelines of the
German Travel Law (Deutsches Reiserecht). This includes
(amongst other things) an insolvency insurance which ensures
that you will receive your money back in the case of insolvency
of the travel organiser.
When making price comparisons elsewhere
you should also check whether your money is in such safe
hands.
