The Language School:
The Spanish school is a relatively new school that has been put together by
teachers from the older Spanish schools in Antigua. The teachers wanted to
found a new school to go against the trend of selling language courses as a
mass product. Highest quality private tuition is offered for all levels of
learning – from beginners to advanced. Care is also taken that the lessons
take place in a comfortable atmosphere.
The school has a set maximum capacity of 45 to 50 students that are taught
in the spacious classrooms or on single tables in the tropical garden.
Lessons of all levels begin every Monday. All year round. On national holidays there are no lessons: 1st January, Easter (Thursday and Friday) 1st May, 25th June, 30th June, 25th July, 15th August, 20th October, 1st November, 24th December, 25th December, 31st December.
The price includes course material, placement test and certificate of completion.
At the beginning of the language course your personal language abilities will
be gauged by your teacher and set to the fitting course level. Your personal
wishes for particular themes will of course be taken into consideration. As
will your learning tempo. If you wish to learn any particularly specialised
themes, please let us know about these in sufficient time. Feel free to bring
along your own material for the lessons.
Our teachers are always ready and willing to teach you about the Guatemalan
culture. This means that the lessons don’t always have to take place
behind a desk, but can also be taken in the park or at the market.
