Why Spanish?
ARGENTINA | CHILE | COSTA RICA | ECUADOR | GUATEMALA | MEXICO | SPAIN
The Spanish language, ‘Castellano’, is one of the most widespread languages in the world. Outside of Spain it is the official language in all of South America except for Brazil (although you can make yourself understood with Spanish in many places there as well). With a few exceptions Spanish is also spoken in Central America. Even in the south-western United States many inhabitants speak Spanish.
In other words learning Spanish opens up the possibilities of communication with millions of people with whom a conversation would otherwise not be possible because of the language barrier.
Spanish is, along with English, one of the most important languages within the EU. Many companies require a good command of Spanish as a prerequisite for employment.
From our personal experience, we can confirm that the best way to learn a foreign language is through well-planned exercises and by applying what you have learnt to everyday life. This is the only way to learn the vocabulary that you need in real life situations. And by doing so you also get to know about the local culture and the people whose language you are learning. To stay in a foreign country and learn a foreign language can really build up your independence and your confidence.
