"The atmosphere at my internship was absolutely fantastic – everyone was really friendly, took time for me and had a lot of patience. You can really learn Spanish because you practise it all the time and no-one explains everything in English just to save time. You feel well integrated in Chilean life and have lots of great experiences. I was given a set project, had to communicate with hotels, restaurants and other services, completed small marketing tasks, etc. I was also responsible for the customer database and updating it. In addition, I had to translate lots of texts – from Spanish into English and German – which really helped build up my vocabulary."
Olga H.:
"The perfect internship for me! I was quickly given responsible tasks, everyone tried to include me in all activities and made a lot of effort to make my stay enjoyable, and I really learnt a lot – especially interpersonal skills and co-cooperativeness. The language course was fantastic! I would recommend that everyone takes a course before starting their internship – not only to improve your language skills but also to meet friends who may also be staying in Santiago for a while. These contacts really helped me."
Annegret H.:
"Thank you for making this valuable experience possible! I am very satisfied with the agency and their great support. I always had the feeling that I could get in touch if I ever had a problem – which I didn’t! Thanks!"
Emily B., Language course and internship in Chile
“I had an amazing time in Chile. I learned so much about
myself and what I can achieve. My Spanish school was awesome, my host
family was amazing, and I learned Spanish and Engineering in my internship.”
